Terms you can read.

Use md2hd lawfully. Keep your account secure. Your markdown remains yours. Paid plans renew until canceled.

Agreement: By using md2hd, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you use md2hd for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it. You must be at least 13 years old.
Your account: Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if the account may be compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the access you grant through workspace roles and public links.
Your content: You keep all rights to your markdown and maps. You give us only the permission needed to provide the hosted service: store your maps, send them to your devices, and show a map through a public link you publish.
Prohibited use: Do not break the law, infringe another person's rights, breach or overload the service, resell hosted access without permission, or store illegal material. We may rate-limit or stop automated use that harms the service or other users.

Plans

Price, limits, and cancellation.

Hosted Free: Hosted Free currently includes one personal workspace, unlimited maps, the complete canvas, 100 MB of total account storage, and saved maps across devices. It requires no payment card and has no trial deadline. Public links and collaboration in another person's workspace are not included.
Hosted Pro: Hosted Pro adds 25 workspaces, public read-only links, up to 10 Pro members per workspace, and 1 GB of total account storage. Every collaborator needs Pro. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.
Flat pricing: There are no token, credit, or consumption charges. Plans still have the published storage and people limits. Paid plans bill in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude applicable tax.
Cancellation: Cancel from billing settings at any time. Pro remains active through the paid period, then your account returns to Hosted Free. Workspaces and maps you own stay editable and exportable, including workspaces above the Free creation limit, but you cannot create another workspace. Public links stop working. Access to workspaces owned by other people is suspended until both accounts are Pro again.
Refunds and price changes: We do not automatically prorate partial billing periods. Contact us if a charge is wrong. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an active paid plan.
Self-hosting: The software is available under the MIT license. A self-hosted operator provides the infrastructure, storage, accounts, email, security, backups, and plan rules for that deployment. These hosted-service terms do not make us its operator.

Service terms

Availability, liability, and termination.

Availability and warranties: We work to keep md2hd available and correct, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Keep copies of important markdown outside the service.
Liability: To the extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and termination: You may delete your account from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, threatens the service, or creates legal risk. When practical, we will explain the reason and allow time to export maps first.
Changes: Material changes will be posted here and in the changelog. We will email account holders before a change that materially reduces their rights takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means accepting the revised terms.
Governing law: These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction where md2hd is operated. Disputes belong in its courts. If one clause is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
