A reporting file contains sources, claims, records, interviews, and unanswered questions. Map their relationships so support, contradiction, and missing evidence are visible before publication.
What belongs in the map
Keep the subjects separate. Name what connects them.
Use the vocabulary already present in the work. Card types identify the subjects; relationship labels state what one subject does to another.

Connections
A label should read as a plain statement between two cards. These verbs fit this map:
Questions the map can answer
Open one card and inspect its immediate context.
- Which sources independently support this claim?
- What evidence challenges or narrows the conclusion?
- Which important statement relies on only one source?
- What record or interview would close the largest remaining gap?
